Prof. Andrew Viterbi, President of the Group Viterbi LCC, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences and Engineering at the University of Cyprus. The nomination ceremony was held in the Ceremony Hall of the University of Cyprus (75 Kallipoleos Avenue, Nicosia), on Friday, March 5, 2010.

Prof. Andrew Viterbi is one of the few personalities who have distinguished themselves for outstanding achievements in science, playing a key role in establishing the revolutionary model for use in CDMA mobile communication.
